Temp of the Month award for College Admissions Administrator

Admissions Administrator Louise Preston has received the Temp of the Month award for February from Chelmsford based recruitment agency Pursuit Recruitment. Louise started temping at The College at Braintree in September 2009 and has worked in the Admissions Office for seven months.

Lorraine Phair, owner and Managing Director of Pursuit Recruitment said: “There are between 80 and 90 temps working through the agency each week, in an area covering Braintree, Brentwood and Basildon, Chelmsford and Witham. The team at Pursuit receive nominations from Human Resources departments and we look at skills, achievements and overall performance. Louise received excellent reports from The College at Braintree and she is a most worthy winner of our Temp of the Month award.”

Louise said: “After completing an Honours Degree in German and Spanish at Southampton University I signed on with the agency in order to gain a variety of experiences to put on my CV. I have enjoyed a wide range of roles and responsibilities at the College and my temping finishes in March. I am now planning to do charity work in Latin America which will enable me to use my languages and gain relevant experience before applying for graduate schemes for employment in the charity sector.”
