Students Help Spread the Safety Message with the 'Crucial Crew'
Students on the Entry to Employment course at Braintree College helped to deliver the 'Crucial Crew' workshops run by Braintree District Council with the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership. Over 1800 Year 6 pupils from 49 Primary Schools throughout the Braintree District attended the workshops at the College in July. The students helped to spread safety messages about smoking, shoplifting, first aid and alcohol awareness, as well as fire, road and water safety. The students received a special thank you from the organisers and were presented with certificates by Councillor Wendy Schmitt.
