Students and Staff Raise £180 for BBC Children in Need

Students at Braintree College have taken part in fundraising activities for BBC Children in Need. On Wednesday 18 November Motor Vehicle Apprentices dressed up in the costumes of their film heroes and heroines and ran a cake sale which raised £105.

On Friday 20 November students on the BTEC National Diploma in Childcare raised £75 with a cake sale, face painting and a doughnut eating competition, the students also donated £1 to wear pyjamas in fancy dress.

Childcare lecturer Gillian Weldon-Holmes said, "This is the fourth year that we have organised activities for Children in Need and yet again it has been a great success thanks to the support of staff and students.”
