Motor Vehicle Apprentices Learn About Auto Security
Motor Vehicle Apprentices at Braintree College received training in vehicle security during a one day event presented by auto locksmiths Ron Cliff and Stephen Cliff. The London based father and son team are both Fellow members of the Master Locksmiths Association (MLA).
Motor Vehicle lecturer Roger Moss said, “Our Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Apprentices looked at different types of lock and took part in hands-on activities; they also learned about curb-side assistance for vehicle owners. This is an area of growing importance within the motor vehicle industry due to increased security on cars. Ron and Stephen Cliff are members of the only Home Office-approved locksmiths association and it was a major coup for the College to be able to host a training event delivered by two auto locksmiths who are specialists in their field.”
