Foundation Diploma Art and Design Students' Final Major Project Exhibition

Nine BTEC Foundation Diploma Art and Design students at Braintree College exhibited a range of work for their Final Major Project. The exhibition featured ceramics, drawing, graphics, painting, photography, prints, textiles, sculpture and project portfolios.

Lecturer James Kinder said: "This exhibition marked the end of the students’ studies at Braintree College and the beginning of the next phase of their career as they progress to Higher Education. All the students have been accepted for places at university to study their chosen specialist subject within the art and design disciplines."

James continued: "To complete the one year Foundation course students spend eight weeks developing and concluding an original project in a chosen specialist area of art and design. The high standard of the work on display is reflective of the hard work and commitment demonstrated by a class of dedicated, enthusiastic, creative students who are determined to succeed in the creative world of art and design."
