College is recognised for careers information, advice and guidance

Braintree College has been re-accredited with the Matrix Standard. The College maintains this prestigious standard in recognition for the quality of information, advice and guidance it delivers to both potential and existing learners. External Assessor Bernard Thompson observed that the College, ‘Went the extra mile’ to assist clients when looking for information.

Marianne Gardner, a qualified IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) adviser who manages the new Advice Centre for the College, said, ‘We are really pleased to have been awarded the Matrix Standard for another three years. It is important that when students and other members of the public come to us seeking advice on qualifications and careers they can be sure of the quality of the service.’
