College hosts Panathlon Challenge Event
On April 22nd The College at Braintree was host to this year’s Panathlon Challenge Event. Students from schools within North West Essex, all with learning difficulties and disabilities, took part in a day packed with a variety of sports which allowed them the opportunity to develop skills and take part in a competitive environment.
The day provided the opportunity for Year 2 students studying the BTEC National Certificate and BTEC National Diploma in Sport to come together with school students and share a day packed with sporting activity. The students were able to use and build on their training in disability sports, at what is becoming an annual event.
