College hosts Farleigh Hospice Craft Sale
A Farleigh Hospice craft sale at Braintree College in December raised £85 towards the Chelmsford based charity’s fundraising campaign. Sheila Gunson, Patsy Adamson and Pat Dobbs staffed the craft stall which included a large selection of knitted hats, scarves and toys, and homemade jams.
Sheila said, ‘Students and staff at the College are making a big contribution by supporting the sale of crafts. Between April and December 2009 we have held 96 similar events around the district and every penny raised is going to our overall target this year of £11,000. Our craft items are made by a dedicated team of 60 supporters. Anyone who is interested in supporting the charity can visit our website, www.farleigh.org, for more information.’
