College hosts DCSF briefing session outlining key 14-19 reforms
Braintree College was delighted to host a Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) briefing session outlining the key 14 - 19 reforms. The briefing took place on Thursday 30 April in the Conference Centre at the College. The briefing gave those involved in Education from Mid and North Essex the opportunity to hear first-hand the key changes to 14 - 19 learning provision.
The briefing detailed the need for change and how improvements will enable young people in our area the opportunity to access the most appropriate learning route to meet their needs. Most importantly the briefing described how the changes have been designed to allow students to have a clear progression path to a higher level of education, training or to employment.
