Braintree College students take part in ‘Wish You Were Here’
Braintree College Media students interviewed Brooks Newmark MP, Member of Parliament for Braintree, as part of their planned day of filming at the ‘Wish You Were Here’ event in Braintree town centre on Friday 30 October.
Dan Smith, Lead Tutor for Media Print Publishing at Braintree College said, “This event was a great opportunity for our students to work in the community and demonstrate their skills in interviewing, camera work and photography.”
Performing Arts and Music Technology students also contributed to the day’s activities and attracted an enthusiastic audience for their live bands, vocalists and dance performances.
One of the busiest and most popular attractions was the Beauty Therapy students’ nail art and Indian head massage treatments in the Town Hall; a steady stream of visitors had their nails decorated with pumpkins and ghosts to reflect a Halloween theme.
