Braintree College BTEC First Diploma in Performing Arts student Alex White, 17, from Dunmow, was in New York for four days at the beginning of December, attending the United Nations (UN) General Assembly's World Fit for Children +5 Conference as a representative from the Children's Rights Alliance for England (CRAE).
