Financial Help for Mature Students
Free Level 2 and Level 3 Training
If you are aged 19 or over and do not have a full Level 2 qualification - e.g. 5 GCSEs at C or above, NVQ Level 2, or BTEC First Diploma - and you are studying for your first Level 2 qualification either full or part-time, you will not have to pay tuition fees.
Adult Learning Grant
If you are 20 years or over and studying full-time - i.e. 12 ½ hours a week or more - you may be eligible for an Adult Learning Grant (ALG).
