Assessor and Verifier Training
The College can offer NVQ training to employers and their staff who need to become NVQ Assessors (A1 Award) or Internal Verifiers (V1 Award). Anyone assessing NVQ candidates must have the A1 NVQ Assessor Award (or its predecessor D32/D33). To be eligible for the A1 Award staff must have at least two NVQ candidates to assess.
The Staff conducting the internal quality assurance of the assessment process must hold the V1 Award (or its predecessor D34). To be eligible for the V1 Award staff must have at least two Assessors to support and mentor.
