Q. What does Additional Learning Support do?
A. We provide additional support to students meeting their individual needs.

Q. Who can we get help from?
A. Call 01376 557037 or drop into the Additional learning Support office on the second floor of ‘A’ block, room A219.

Q. When is Additional Learning Support open?
A. Monday to Friday 9.00am until 5.00pm (including half terms).

Q. Are you free to see me in the evening as I work all day?
A. We can arrange a meeting to suit you to discuss your support needs any evening.

Q. I think I may have dyslexia, who can help me?
A. Talk to our specialist tutor Lynn Brooks who can arrange an assessment and specialist tuition.

Q. How do I get an assessment?
A. Call 01376 557037 or drop in and speak to our specialist tutor on the second floor of ‘A’ block, room A218, to arrange your assessment.

Q. How do I get exam access arrangements
A. If you feel you need exam concessions talk to Additional Learning Support immediately.

Q. My friend does study skills can I?
A. Additional Learning Support can advise you on study skills to enable you more effective support in completing your assignments.

Q. How do I know what I tell you will be kept confidential?
A. All information is kept in locked filing cabinets within a locked room within the department. If you are concerned about confidentiality please contact us.

Q. Can I refer myself to have support?
A. Yes you can and we would be more than happy to discuss this with you, please contact Additional Learning Support.

Q. Can my pastoral tutor or classroom tutor refer me for support?
A. Yes they can refer you at anytime in the year for support by contacting Additional Learning Support.
